Wish Spell

Ingredients:

1 White Chime Candle
Sweet Attraction or Horn of Plenty Anointing Oil
Ritual Carving Tool
1 White Sheet of Paper
Black Pen or Marker
Glass (or Fire Proof) Dish – filled with water
Scissors (optional)
Envelope (optional)
Candles for Atmosphere

This Spell should be performed during a Full Moon.

Create an atmosphere by lighting as many candles as you wish to use in your surroundings. Take a few minutes to meditate and channel your focus. Once you feel you are ready you may continue.

You will begin by consecrating and anointing the white chime candle. (Many Wiccan rituals require items used in spell-casting to be charged prior to the ritual. This can be done by bathing the items in moonlight under a full moon. However you may also verbally cleanse and consecrate an object at the same time).

To consecrate the chime candle focus your intent and purpose with as much clarity as possible. Visualize your personal energy flowing through the candle and infusing it with your own magickal empowerment. As you continue to visualize, recite a few words to cleanse, consecrate and enchant the candle. For example:

Earth my body, Water my blood,

Air my breath and Fire my spirit;

With the power of the four Elements in my right

I cleanse and consecrate this candle

To bring my grandest wish to light

So Mote It Be!

Next, you will then use your ritual carving tool to carve a symbol that represents your wish for example: a heart, a dollar sign, someone’s initials, runic symbol for healing, runic symbol for good luck, runic symbol for strength, etc (be creative).

You will now anoint the chime candle with (Sweet Attraction or Horn of Plenty) Spell Oil. To anoint the chime candle you will use one of two methods. One method will draw energy toward you and the other method will draw energy away from you. For this spell you will want to draw positive energy toward you.

Add a small amount of (Sweet Attraction or Horn of Plenty) Spell Oil on the finger tips of your dominant hand (you may use gloves if you wish not to touch the oil). While holding the candle with your non-dominant hand, begin at the top of the candle and rub the oil downward toward the middle and stop at the center (you may do this while slowly rotating the candle and rubbing the oil to cover all sides of the upper part of the candle). Next, start at the bottom of the candle and work towards the center. Rub the (Sweet Attraction or Horn of Plenty) Spell Oil upward, slowly rotating the candle to cover the lower half of the candle.

Now you are ready to light the chime candle.

As the candle begins to burn, you will then take the white sheet of paper and fold it in half (does not matter in what direction you fold it). You will then tear (or cut) the paper in half down its folded crease. On the top-center of the half sheet of paper draw the element symbol for Earth. On the right-side-center of the paper draw the element symbol for Air. On the bottom-center of the paper draw the element symbol for Fire. On the left-side-center of the paper draw the element symbol for Water. Once you have draw all four symbols you will now write down your wish (be as clear as possible about what you wish for and your intention).

When you have completed writing down your wish, you will then draw a pentagram using the (Sweet Attraction or Horn of Plenty) Spell Oil over your wish with your index finger (the size of the pentagram does not matter). Begin with the first line of the pentagram running from North to South. Next, fold the paper in half once. Then fold the sheet in half a second time. Hold the folded note up to your heart and visualize the wish you have written down. Take a few moments to meditate and focus on your wish. When you are ready you will verbalize your wish as you recite the following:

May the Goddesses shine upon me and grant this wish:

**(State your wish before continuing)

Powers of Earth, Wind, Fire and Sea

May you bring strength to the four elements in me

To guide my wish and see it through

With blessings of love and light to make it come true

So Mote It Be!

Lastly, you will take the folded note and ignite it within the chime candle’s flame. (**Be extra careful not to burn yourself)! Drop the burning note into the glass dish filled with water and blow out the flame as you envision your wish (as you would a birthday wish). You may then bury the ashes (or remnants) of your wish outdoors under a tree or bush.

Allow the candle to continue burning on its own until extinguished.
