Creativity Spell
Ingredients:
- 1 Orange Chime Candle
- Creativity Anointing Oil
- Ritual Carving Tool
- Image or Object (related to your goal)
- Black Pen or Marker
- Ribbon or String
- Candles for Atmosphere
This Spell can be performed during a New Moon, Waxing Moon or Full Moon.
Create an atmosphere by lighting as many candles as you wish to use in your surroundings. Take a few minutes to meditate and channel your focus. Once you feel you are ready you may continue.
You will begin by consecrating and anointing the orange chime candle. (Many Wiccan rituals require items used in spell-casting to be charged prior to the ritual. This can be done by bathing the items in moonlight under a full moon. However you may also verbally cleanse and consecrate an object at the same time).
To consecrate the chime candle focus your intent and purpose with as much clarity as possible. Visualize your personal energy flowing through the candle and infusing it with your own magickal empowerment. As you continue to visualize, recite a few words to cleanse, consecrate and enchant the candle. For example:
Earth my body, Water my blood,
Air my breath and Fire my spirit;
With the power of the four Elements in my me
I cleanse and consecrate this candle
To bring forth inspiration and creativity
So Mote It Be!
Next, you will use your ritual carving tool to carve your initials on the chime candle.
You will now anoint the chime candle with Creativity Spell Oil. To anoint the chime candle you will use one of two methods. One method will draw energy toward you and the other method will draw energy away from you. For this spell you will want to draw positive energy toward you.
Add a small amount of Creativity Spell Oil on the finger tips of your dominant hand (you may use gloves if you wish not to touch the oil). While holding the candle with your non-dominant hand, begin at the top of the candle and rub the oil downward toward the middle and stop at the center (you may do this while slowly rotating the candle and rubbing the oil to cover all sides of the upper part of the candle). Next, start at the bottom of the candle and work towards the center. Rub the Creativity Spell Oil upward, slowly rotating the candle to cover the lower half of the candle.
Now you are ready to light the chime candle.
As the candle begins to burn you will take the image that relates to your goal (for example: a page from an inspirational novel, an image of an inspirational artwork, a sheet of inspirational music, image of an inspirational fashion design, etc.) and mark the element symbol for Earth on the top-center. On the right-side-center of the image you will draw the element symbol for Air. On the bottom-center of the image you will draw the element symbol for Fire. On the left-side-center of the image you will draw the element symbol for Water. (If you are using an object you do not need to draw the symbols on the object unless you wish to).
When you have completed marking all four symbols over the image you will begin channeling your energy and focusing on your creative goal. Take the image or object in hand and begin to envision the amount of passion and creative energy that led to creating the inspirational image or object you are holding. Visualize having the same passion, inspiration and creativity to obtain your own personal goal. Focus on all the details that encompass creating such a goal (for example: tools, materials, instruments, colors, textures, scents, techniques/skills, etc.). Continue to focus, envision and meditate for several minutes on as many details as possible required to achieve your creative goal.
When you are satisfied with envisioning all the details you can come up with, you will then draw a pentagram (it does not matter what size) using the Creativity Spell Oil over the image (or object if it is possible) with your index finger. Begin by marking the first line of the pentagram in a direction from North to South. Next you will fold the image (depending on its size) into a small square. Raise the folded image (or object) up to your heart and visualize the image. Take a few moments to meditate. When you are ready you will verbalize your goal as you recite the following:
May the Goddesses shine upon me and grant their blessing to:

Powers of Earth, Wind, Fire and Sea
Bring forth your creativity
To inspire all mind, body and spirit within me
So Mote It Be!
Lastly, wrap the folded image or object with the ribbon (or string). Keep the image or object near you while you work on your creative goal.
Allow the candle to continue burning on its own until extinguished.
